UrbanNet 2020

Roma, September

Call for contributions:

Submissions of contributed talks are accepted as extended abstracts (one pdf page including a descriptive figure). The abstract, in a txt or pdf format, should be uploaded via Easychair at this link.
Submissions deadline is due on July 12, 2020. Communication of acceptance will be sent by July 17, 2020.  Please consider that early registration to the conference ends on July 21, and all participants to the satellite meetings must register

Submissions will be evaluated and selected by the Program Committee members, based on the adherence to the workshop theme, originality and scientific quality. A non-exhaustive list of topics to which particular attention will be paid includes:

  • Socio-economic traits of mobility, behavioural changes and their impact on epidemic spreading, location and activity patterns in cities.
  • City livability and health, definitions and development of new metrics to classify cities.
  • Physical properties of mobility patterns, city limits and modeling.
  • Urban mobility influence on the economy, inequalities and gender gaps.
  • Methods and tools for both real time management and longer term strategic planning of urban infrastructure networks (transport, energy, communications, tourism...).
  • Modelling of the coupling between short-term and long-term urban dynamics.
  • Interplay between activity-travel patterns and social networks.

Once the selection process is completed, the authors of the accepted abstracts will be notified by e-mail. Please remember that all the participants in the NetSci conference or the satellites must register at this link.
